I first started using my art in functional ways as a necessity. . A discarded piece of furniture became a surface for creating. All of what I have, I use myself in my home and in my everyday life. One only has so much wall space, so why not add an artistic, unique elements we use each day? Floor Cloths
Each floor cloth is a signed original, usable work of art. It’s painted with Acrylic paint on heavy weight canvas and sealed with 2 coats of polyurethane. It’s sure to last you several years.
A floorcloth, refers to a carpet substitute originally made of canvas, linseed oil, whiting and pigments. The painted floorcloth was waterproof, insect resistant and easily cleaned. Floorcloths are one of the earliest forms of floorcoverings. Many used them when they couldn’t afford the cost of a rug.
